Lincoln Wrestling would like to welcome Mr. David Kirkendall to LJSHS. Mr. Kirkendall comes to Lincoln from Stafford High School with his wife of 15 years (Donna), his eighth grade daughter (Allison), and his son (Matthew) who will be entering fifth grade.Mr. Kirkendall is a graduate of Chapman High School and a Marine veteran who spent three and a half of his four year commitment serving overseas. After leaving the service, he attended Cloud County Community College where he earned his Associate's Degree before getting his Bachelor's Degree from Bethany College. His Master's Degree in Educational Administration is from Fort Hays State University.
Kirkendall taught his entire career in Stafford, Kansas where he taught social studies and served as the district Technology Coordinator this past school year. During his 14 years in Stafford he stayed very busy coaching wrestling and helping with the kids' wrestling program with his wife. He also served the community as a city councilman for six years, before being elected mayor and serving for the past six years.
