Lincoln Takes 2nd at Home Tourney

LINCOLN, KS - The 14th Annual Lincoln Round Robin kicked off the 2009-10 wresting season for seven schools. The meet was attended by Lincoln, Bennington, Stafford, St. John's Military, Southeast of Saline, Onaga, and Republic Co. Approximately 90 wrestlers competed for individual and team honors.

Onaga captured the team title with 173.5 points followed by Lincoln with 140.5 points and Braden Long (189) of Southeast of Saline earned the Most Outstanding Wrestler award after winning his bracket.

Lincoln will next compete in the Onaga Classic which has a varsity and jv tournament in two gymnasiums next Saturday (Dec. 12). The first round is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am
